Poll: 1 in 10 Americans has taken someone else’s rx drugs

Two-thirds of them were given drugs by a relative or friend, according to the Reuters/Ipsos online poll of 6,438 adult Americans between July 24th and August 12th. Here’s the Reuters story about the poll findings.
In recent years, more than 100 Americans a day have died after abusing prescription drugs, a rate that has quadrupled since 2000.
