This report in the Boston Herald does not go into details, but apparently former Herd running back Darius Marshall failed a drug test at the NFL Combine. He was one of four players to fail drug tests at the combine.
Here’s the kicker, though. Only two of those players — Marshall and Cal’s Nyan Boateng — went undrafted, potentially as a result of the failed test. Marshall, however, was the only undrafted underclassmen who also failed a test.
Just bad all around.
