The University of Miami RedHawks just unveiled what might be considered their secret weapon for their season opener at Marshall.
How is it a weapon you say? Well, it may allow the RedHawks to run free on the field, as the Thundering Herd is left frozen in its tracks in stunned disbelief.
So what’s the secret? In the words of Dr. Weird from “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” …
First, yes, that’s “Miami” stamped across the shoulders. Second, wow, that helmet.
Here’s a closer look.
That’s red chrome with silver feathers strewn across the helmet. And on top of that “M” stuck on the front, there’s a big “MIAMI” across the back.
Seriously, if you’re a Marshall player, how could you not stare?
As esteemed colleague Tom Bragg just said, “Everybody wanna be Oregon, but nobody wanna be Oregon.”
