I dont even live in West Virginia and I’m offended Lol #BUCKWILD
Not even close to being buck wild. Hook up with the right people in Mingo county if you want to see wild.
Watched a few episodes recently…the show is far from being wild. Far from being that interesting either. Actually a bit disappointing.
Thank you @MTV for showcasing social causes. Every day I nearly run into so many buck wild West Virginians rolling onto highways in tires. MTV is in the entertainment business … And this show is entertaining. But #Buck Wild isn’t really embarrassing, I just cant stand the people on it.
Buckwild made a lot of buzz when it got on air and that reflected in the mixed reactions on the tweets and on other social media.
There are few people who appreciate MTV for bringing up the social issues but few criticize them for telecasting the shows like Buckwild.Since MTV and Buckwild are the part of entertainment industry, they constantly seek a limelight on them. For which they desperately need a publicity,be it positive or negative and that’s what they are doing.
I consider Buckwild to be an addition in the tons of obscene, vulgur, disgracing programmes running on TV day and night.Viewers expressed their mixed opinions which actually led the programme to its success.Though there was a lot of rage, fury, wrath amongst people towards the programme, makers made a point that viewers watch it and increase its ratings. And that’s what they needed to make Buckwild a superhit.I guess publicity of any sort is always a good luck charm to any TV show.
I am shocked and amused to see the programmes like Buckwild getting immense popularity on television. With such a big hype created among masses through its publicity on TV,facebook and social media,I too could not stop ,myself from watching first few episodes. As I am already used to the nonsense,no-brain things airing on TV lately,I didn’t find Buckwild too embarrassing, but it is definitely not worth watching too.I thought this one strictly mediocre and will go flop soon. But to my horror,Buckwild is doing good business and that really proves that viewers’ taste is changing.
Buckwild was one of the most talked, controversial programme when it aired on TV for the first time creating overrated hype and sensation. It looked to me as subjected to humiliation, abuse, derogation and ultimately turned out disgraceful to most of the adult generation. But on the contrary, teenagers seem to be enjoying the show to the core and posting updates on facebook where most of them stated that they are finding it exciting and entertaining.Honestly I was startled reading few supporting responses for buckwild and hereby expressing my apprehension and concern for the future generations over their taste of entertainment and fun.
My friends had shared this link on their Twitter page and I was amazed to see so many likes and comments to it.It intrigued my interest level and just by curiosity,I peeped into the page.I had never watched Buckwild’ before but I made a point to see it deliberately to comprehend why it is so much popular amongst the youngsters.I found that the makers of such programmes have perfectly grasped the likes, dislikes, tastes of young generations.Hence they try to create unnecessary and fake drama, histrionics in the show to draw attention of viewers and take advantage of this undue publicity.I guess it is a time for young generation to introspect themselves and not to fall prey to the cheap tactics of programme makers.
Buckwild was a huge popular show in my hometown in UK. I went through people’s reactions on the show and found it very amusing and entertaining.Few found it appealing and different from the regular shows from ‘creativity’ point of view.Rest found it very absurd and obscene especially when the whole family is around. My observation is that the extreme and polarized responses has increased the excitement factor among viewers and prompted those who were not even watching it before to at least get glimpse of it at least once.
