Maybe your cure for winter blues this year is a sweet, 3 year old cat whose name is Mollie. Mollie needs a new person to love. Through no fault of hers, Mollie’s home became home to three kittens and she feels displaced. She is currently being cared for by a nice lady in our subdivision, but has been spending most of her time outdoors and that will soon become impossible due to the winter weather.
My dog Sadie and I met her and she is cautious when meeting new people and particularly new dogs. Sadie loves cats and approaches them quickly which often scares them. Mollie warily eyed Sadie, looked both of us over intensely, and then decided to walk away probably to think what life would be like in a house with an eager dog and someone who has never had a cat.
I had to remind Sadie that she has a sister who is a bird and perhaps a cat in the mix would not be a good idea. So…we are trying to help Mollie find a warm, comfortable, and peaceful home that she can settle into before winter. She is spayed and up to date on all her shots. Do you need a comfortable cat to cuddle with this winter? Respond to our blog comments and we can provide all the details. Cats are certainly a great cure for those frigid winter evenings…and they’re not bad at warming up hearts as well.
