Patti Lawson is the proud “DOG MOM” of Sadie Lawson and an award winning author of THE Dog Diet, A Memoir: What My Dog Taught Me About Shedding Pounds, Licking Stress, and Getting a New Leash on Life. (HCI,2006). Her essays have appeared in Chicken Soup for the Soul books; she writes for PAW NATION (AOL/Huff Post) and various other publications. She is a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law.
Amy Keith is a co-owner of Valley West Veterinary Hospital in Charleston. She is a George Washington High School and West Virginia University graduate and earned her veterinary degree at The Ohio State University. She has a dog, Toby, and three active boys. She is married to Steven Keith, the Daily Mail Food Guy.
Jamie Totten is a dog and cat veterinarian at Cross Lanes Veterinary Hospital. She is a graduate of Hurricane High School, the University of Charleston and the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She is married to Tim Facemyer and resides in the Charleston area with a beautiful son, Alex, 4 dogs and 2 cats.
Brad White has a lifelong love of dogs and maintains an email database to find homes for dogs who need a loving place to live. He also sustains an environment for dozens of birds outside his home. He is a Vanderbilt University graduate, the principal owner of White Financial Group in Charleston and coaches lacrosse at George Washington High School in his spare time.
Brad McElhinny is a new dog owner and sort of a veteran cat owner. He also tries to help his kids keep their fish alive. Oh, and he’s also the Charleston Daily Mail’s managing editor.
