I suppose you could say Kansas State did very well for itself with four of the 11 superlatives, but Tavon Austin has nothing to feel badly about this afternoon.

I’d like to know who didn’t vote for Tavon Austin for first team.
The biggest award is playing Syracuse in NYC in 30degree weather.
What has happened to Tavon’s poetry? Wasn’t he “composing” free verse early in his career … and even earned a nickname on this site of “The Poet?” Just curious.
Sometimes being left off these award lists can motivate individuals to perform better in their next game. Or is that just wishful thinking? You can’t help but want another of those BIG bowl wins.
Tavon Austin is mentioned almost as many times as Texas-Austin.
Biggest upset has to be that Marquette kid beating out Geno for first-team QB.
Do players care about these awards? Do NFL scouts care?
I don’t care. I’m not sure why, I just don’t. Awards are usually given by people removed from the game enough that the process becomes a popularity contest instead of a quest for the best.
Is Tony Jefferson who couldn’t two-hand touch Tavon when we played, the best Safety in the Big 12? Tavon made him look cheap and easy, the entire game!
I haven’t been that impressed by Karl Joseph. But I guess that in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
Mike Leach heartily endorses the one-eyed man. Aaaarrrrr.
These awards mean almost at much as Skip Bayless’ opinion…….
PS Debbie Downer has met her soulmate……thy name is Dave.
So Sted went to Miramar and Geno to Miramara?
one reason to like Karl.
I think I broke his effin neck.
Krazy Karl is a runaway freight train of pain….the Big 12 is obviously too scared to properly award him….
Karl doesn’t impress you? Me either, I got really sick of these play-by-play announcers always calling his name in game after game…..
Jones to UT. whew.
