You are looking live at Brooklyn Heights from high atop the Marriott New York at the Brooklyn Bridge. It’s starting to get bad outside and the mayor has already put the emergency operating system in effect.
It’s too windy to be productive outside and, by the sound of it, it may be too dangerous to travel before long.
Just to review, WVU doesn’t pick its hotel or practice sites. The bowl handles that, regardless of the game.
Now, we do have to wonder why WVU isn’t at the indoor facility at Hofstra, which we were told is available, or why other contingencies weren’t arranged, say, with the Jets/Giants.
All of that said, I’d be lying if I told you on-site bowl practices are all that. WVU did all its work on campus and most teams revisit those things when they’re on site. And WVU was only planning to practice today and tomorrow anyhow with a walkthrough Friday — and Dana thinks walkthroughs are rubbish.
This is probably more of a hassle than anything else, but this is two times in three years the Pinstripe has been affected by snow.
